The OBC cell of the college creates on environment where all employees and students belonging to the community should feel safe and secure. To bridge a gap between students and the Government Departments to get and prompt distribution of scholarships and other financial assistance.

The cell for other Back ward classes (OBC) is constituted in college to empower the OBC students and staff. The cell is always engaged to solve the various problems of OBC students. The cell is aiways proactive to solve the various problems of OBC students. The cell will deal with the concerns of the OBC and minorities.

Objectives:

To educate, enlighten and empower the students and staff of OBC categories in the college to make use of the facilities extended by the Govt. and other agencies for their educational & occupational career.
To implement, monitor and evaluate continuously the reservation policy implemented by University and plan measures for ensuring effective implementation of the policy and programs of the Government of India and UGC.
To collect data regarding the implementation of the policies in respect of admissions, appointments to teaching and non teaching positions in the universities and analyze the data showing the trends and changes towards fulfilling the required quota.
To organize the Continuing Education Programmes (CEPs) for students, researches, teachers and non-teaching staff of the university to update their knowledge and skills.
