Grievance Redressal Committee

GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL COMMITTEE

The college has a Student Grievance Redressal Committee. The Committee’s functions include investigating complaints filed by students and determining their merit. The Grievance Redressal Committee is also empowered to investigate cases of harassment. Anyone with a valid grievance may approach the Grievance Redressal Committee members in person. If the person is unwilling to appear in person, grievances can be submitted in writing. Grievances can also be submitted via e-mail to the officer in charge of the Grievance Redressal Committee or the Principal.

Functions :

  • 1. The cell investigates and evaluates student complaints. The Grievance Cell is also empowered to investigate cases of harassment.
  • 2. Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach department members in person or consult with the class in charge.
  • 3. If the person is unwilling to appear in person, grievances may be submitted in writing to the Grievance Cell's letterbox/suggestion box in the Administrative Block. Grievances can also be submitted via e-mail to the ganesarcollege1909@gmail.com or the officer in charge of the Grievance Cell, c.kurinji@gmail.com.
  • 4. When written grievances from students are received, they will be addressed promptly. The Grievance Cell will address the cases that have been forwarded, along with the necessary documents
  • 5. The Grievance Cell will ensure that the grievance has been properly solved within the time limit specified by the cell.
  • 6. The cell will formally review all cases and generate statistical reports on the number of cases received. The cell will submit a report to the authority detailing the cases handled and the number of pending cases, if any, that require direction and guidance from higher authorities.
