Internal Compliant Committee

The Internal Compliance Committee was formed in the college in accordance with the UGC regulations (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions).

Function:

Preventive

  • 1. Encourage equality, non-discrimination, and gender sensitivity.
  • 2. Promote and facilitate measures to eliminate sexual harassment in the workplace.
  • To take such follow up measures for achieving the objectives and targets laid down for the purpose by the Government of India and the UGC.
  • To enhance equal opportunities for education of minorities.

Remedial

  • 1. Recognise and address sexual harassment complaints at the university, taking each one seriously.
  • 2. Crisis management, mediation, and counselling.
  • 3. Investigate complaints, report findings, and recommend penalties for harassers.
