About the Department of Fashion Technology
B.SC FASHION TECHNOLOGY
The proposed science programme in B.Sc Fashion Technology will be judicious mix of skills, professional education related to Fashion Designing, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Entrepreneurship development and also appropriate content of general education.
It is designed with the objective of equipping the students to cope with the emerging trends and challenges in the field of Fashion Technology. This would enable the graduates completing B.Sc .to make a meaningful participant in accelerating India’s economy by gaining appropriate employment, becoming entrepreneurs and creating appropriate knowledge.

Mission of the Department:
The Department of Fashion Technology, an integral unit of Ganesar Arts and Science College, offers a 3-year under graduate programme in fashion and technology.
It aims to develop globally-competitive graduates through comprehensive education and training that will precisely meet the needs and expectations of the fashion/garment industry and business, and enables the graduates to solve real-time manufacturing, design and technological challenges in the field.
The department also offers need-based continuing education programmes/courses for the benefit of the society.
